ABCD: Sketch Challenge

This was my first attempt to follow a sketch, and with this card I am hoping to qualify for two sketch challenges.

The letter/number pattern was made using the Tim Holtz “Typo” layering stencil. The typewriter stamp is by Cavallini & Co, and this the first time I used anything by that company. It comes in a set with two other “vintage” wooden stamps and is presented in a lovely metal tin (it’s extra nice when stamps come in a tin, don’t you think?) Hopefully, I’ll get to use the other two stamps from the set soon.

See You Soon! (I hope)

  2. Oh I love that TH stencil, you used it perfectly here for a wonderful border. And that old typewriter is a perfect focal image. Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Double D Blog, Looking Back In Time Challenge, Donna, DT Member.

  3. A very nostalgic card. Does anyone own a typewriter anymore? Love how you have followed the sketch and your choice of background.
Glad it dropped into the front porch at 613 Avenue Create.

  4. Great CAS design – I love the crisp typewriter image against the softer stenciling! Thank you for playing with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
