It’s Written in the Stars: The Snowman

I’m holding very tight,
I’m riding in the midnight blue;
I’m finding I can fly so high above with you.

Today I am showing you my card featuring … you guessed it … The Snowman!

Usually I put my cards in plain see-through (plastic or glassine) bags, but this time I decided to try making a matching envelope, and I really liked the result!

The stamps and the paper (both by Snowman Enterprises Ltd) came with a craft magazine that was given to me last month by my future father-in-law (DAD), who every now and then likes to surprise me with craft supplies (I bet you are jealous now!). I didn’t get a chance to use them before Christmas, so I got very excited when I saw the current snowman-themed challenge on Addicted to Stamps, especially since I just missed The Snowman on The Library Challenge!

These are the challenges I am entering this week:

Make My Monday
613 Avenue Create
The Corrosive Challenge Blog
Addicted to Stamps Challenge
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
Craftyhazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge
Craftyhazelnut’s Christmas Challenge
Fashionable Stamping Challenges

Thank you to all the lovely challenge blogs and their DT members for encouragement and inspiration!

  2. You were very successful on your first attempt at creating a matching envelope for your card. Your project is cohesive and your use of color is quite impressive! You have a good eye for composition and your layering is great! Thanks so much for leaving this on our Front Porch here at Shopping Our Stash!
