Twelve Tags of Christmas: Day 12!

Twelve Drummers Drumming

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Twelve drummers drumming,
Eleven pipers piping,
Ten lords a-leaping,
Nine ladies dancing,
Eight maids a-milking,
Seven swans a-swimming,
Six geese a-laying,
Five golden rings,
Four calling birds,
Three french hens,
Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

The burgundy box above is at its full length (thank God), which means that it is officially the end of the Christmas season (insert a tear stain here). The Christmas decorations and candles are being put away, and the house no longer smells of mulled wine and mince pies. The act of handling the ornaments surely forces me to hum Michael Bublé, while the voice in my head corrects the lyrics: “Sure it’s Christmas No more”. But, I guess, there is a silver lining in every frosty cloud: apart from the fact that my socks are no longer full of pine needles, here comes the realization that I went through with my Twelve Tags of Christmas idea to the very end!

So here is my crafty farewell to 2018. Scroll down to see The Tag No 12 and how the entire set came together into one mini album. Oh, and there is a short video at the end — it is my first video like this, which is my excuse for it being so awkward… God, I am awkward. But, there is an unexpected guest appearance from my cat, so I am hoping that that helps a bit.

For this series I used quite a few different (and not necessarily Christmas-dedicated) collections by Graphic 45: Christmas Emporium, Children’s Hour, Master Detective, Winter Wonderland, Once Upon a Springtime, and only one sheet of Twelve Days of Christmas!

With my 12th tag I’m entering the Craftyhazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge.

I had A Lot of fun making these tags, and I am grateful for all the great feedback I received. Thank you very much, and I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!
