Teeny-tiny Hardbacks & Bella

Here is another one of my Halloween Graphic 45 miniature projects. This time I used the Olde Curiosity Shoppe collection to make three hardback junk journals. They measure approximately 1″ x 1″ and were really fun to make. For the pages I used little scraps of G45, handmade, and coffee-stained paper. The books also feature stamped and embossed images and a few tiny fussy-cut shapes from the same G45 paper pad.

I find that little projects like this are an excellent way of using up all those little scraps that I could not force myself to throw away. Usually they would be too small to be realistically usable, so I would end up having hundreds of little pieces of paper lying around, waiting for that day when “I will definitely use them”. Now the day has finally come!

I was very pleased with how these books turned out (I do love miniatures!). My cat, Bella, seemed to like them too—although she did try to eat them at one point! Scroll down to see the evidence…
